Hey, I'm trying to apply for a scholarship for the Superstars Writing Seminar that I mentioned earlier. I need two people who could help me, please.
Recruiting two of your friends, writing buddies, or mentors to write short character references and email to
superstarsscholarship@gmail.com with “Scholarship Reference for Jonathan Zenor” in the Subject line. We want to know why they think you should win a scholarship.
So, if someone could help me out I would really appreciate it! The deadline is coming up fast! Let me know if you will write a referral so I know when to stop asking people.
Thanks!

I was hoping you would say that.

I figured I would ask when you come over on Wednesday if you didn't reply by then.

I have not... I thought about asking someone I work with but forgot to do that this week.

Deadline is before Nov 1? Is there a specific length it needs to be?

Nope, just a character reference is all it stated. Here is the page with all of the info:

Oh, and please don’t ask your mom to do it. She might be a little biased.
They may not want my reference. Not your mom, but...

I know... That's why I haven't asked you. Although you do have a different last name. Maybe Brian?

I'd do it, but I don't think I know you well enough yet to provide an adequate assessment.
