SHORT STORY: Ironed Man

Title: Ironed Man
Length, Draft and Language: 5,896 words / First Draft / English
Brief Summary: Richard Gatling, Jr. has learned the airlev train from Saint Louis carrying some of his fathers’ eponymous guns, as well as hundreds of pounds of gold, is late in its arrival to San Francisco. Donning his newly-developed firefighting suit, he blasts off to investigate what the problem may be.
Sub Genre & Keywords: Steampunk, Historical, Superhero, Parody
Known Issues: First Draft and first attempt at writing Steampunk.

Experience & Goals: This is my second short story, and I'm hoping to submit it to the Penny Dread Tales vol. 5 anthology, so any help in making it better is appreciated.
