The Bone Flower Throne - Historical Fiction

Post by Lena » Sun May 22, 2016 4:11 pm

I just finished The Bone Flower Throne by TL Morgenfield. It's about the Aztecs and their mythology. Absolutely fascinating. Couldn't put it down and finished it in two days. Plus the author is local and I can't wait until the next con when I can buy the rest of the series.

Are there any other historical/fantasy-based-on-history sort of stories or novels out there that need to be shared? I've read some Egyptian stuff by Christian Jacq (and Bill Cherf, of course), but there's got to be more out there.

Heh, that's cool. I haven't read any of her stuff yet, but I want to.

The Fluxion Trilogy uses historical figures in a fantasy context . . . but not a historical setting.
