This is a fascinating book about a kid who is kicked off a planet after his mom dies, so he joins up as a crew member on a cargo ship. As he knows nothing of life as a spacer, it gives a great the reader a opportunity to explore the world with the character. This story is also an example of great character development. You are urged to keep turning the page, not by the threat of any danger or because of any action, but simply because the character and story are that fascinating.
I know there are a few among us who have read this fascinating book. What are your thoughts?
