Off to Be the Wizard - Scott Meyer

Post by JL Zenor » Tue Dec 01, 2015 2:51 pm

Off to Be the Wizard has to be one of the most enjoyable books I have read in a while.

Basically it's about a young guy who discovers the world is really a computer simulation, and he finds the file that defines who he is, and starts to manipulate it. After getting himself in trouble he flees back to medieval times to use his newfound powers to become a wizard.

Only to discover that he wasn't the first.

The book is funny, even for geeks who will get many of the references, and is clean.

I highly recommend this book. If you are one who enjoys audio books, this one is well done.

Neat! Sounds a little like "Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline in theming.
