Re: Online resources

I just did a whole research project over this very topic! I completed a test analyzing Grammarly, Ginger, and Microsoft Word. General findings: Grammarly and Ginger are better than Microsoft Word, but I wouldn't recommend relying on them too completely--they tend to lack the ability to pick out cont...

Re: How to grow your mailing list

I've heard this as well. If you are giving something cool away for free, it's a lot more likely that I will put my email address in! One of my favorite business podcasters in Chalene Johnson - she has two podcasts, the business one is called "Build Your Tribe." Here are a couple of articles/links to...

Got it! Thanks for the clarification.

Which style book do you prefer? I have read that Chicago is preferred for fiction. I have the manual, still slowly going through it.

Re: writing tips for dialogue - punctuation rules, 2 of 2

Beta Reader Etiquette

I was listening to an interesting podcast on beta reader etiquette, which includes tips for the beta reader and for the writer. She also has it in article format, so whichever way suits you... Although, I found the comments at the end of the article insightful, as well. Here's the article: http://ww...
